Exterior

Very good vintage condition. The black quilted leather is supple with light creasing and minor surface scratches. The diamond quilting remains defined but exhibits natural softening.

Corners

Light rubbing on the bottom corners and piping, with no deep scuffs or exposed piping.

Hardware

Good condition; the iconic gold-tone CC charm, top rings, and zipper pulls retain their bright finish with minor hairline scratches.

Handle / strap

The rolled leather top handles are sturdy with light creasing and wear. The matching removable leather shoulder strap is in very good condition.

Edge / glazing

The edge paint is well-preserved with only minor wear on the piping and handle joints.

Interior

Clean interior lining with a gold foil stamp reading 'CHANEL' and 'MADE IN ITALY', which remains clear and legible. No major stains or odors are present.

The bag has a slightly relaxed structure typical of vintage travel duffles but holds its shape well when packed.
