This Gucci Horsebit 1955 Messenger Bag is in excellent pre-owned condition, graded at 97%. The GG Supreme coated canvas body shows minimal signs of wear, retaining its vibrant monogram pattern. The rich brown leather trim, including the top handle, side panels, and flap, is supple and largely free from significant scuffs or scratches, consistent with very gentle use. The gold-tone Horsebit hardware on the front flap is shiny with minor superficial hairline scratches. The interior is clean with no noticeable stains or odors. All stitching is intact and strong. The overall appearance is well-maintained and highly presentable.

Exterior

The bag features Gucci's iconic beige and ebony GG Supreme coated canvas on the body and front flap, complemented by smooth brown leather on the top handle, side panels, and structural trims. The front is adorned with the prominent gold-tone Horsebit hardware, a signature detail. The back of the bag is also in GG Supreme canvas. The bottom is reinforced with brown leather and five protective gold-tone feet.

Hardware

All hardware is crafted from polished gold-tone metal. This includes the distinctive Horsebit detail on the front, the magnetic snap closure hidden beneath the flap, the top handle attachments, and the D-rings for the detachable straps. The protective feet at the base are also gold-tone. The clasps on both detachable straps are in excellent working order and exhibit a bright finish.
